Intro: Donato D’Angelo was established in 2001 with the acquisition of about 20 hectares of vineyards located in the most classic production area of the AGLIANICO DEL VULTURE, including the municipalities of Barile, Ripacandida and Maschito.

The vineyards are 80% of the Aglianico variety with a percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Fiano.

The company, which is currently led by Filomena Ruppi and her husband Donato D'Angelo, who have been working in the family business for over four years (historical company in its area), has decided to turn its skills and Donato D'Angelo’s experience with this new company. Currently, the company's production is around 150,000 bottles which are exported to various European and non-EU countries.

Description: The soft pressing of white vinification of the Fiano grapes avoids the passage of phenolic substances such as tannins as well as pigments from the skin to the must. After the draining of the must, the static decantation prepares it for the fermentation that takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

Vinification: 100% Fiano
The vineyards are located in the municipality of Ripacandida, the soil is medium-volcanic at an altitude of about 500 a.s.l.
The grapes are soft crushed and the free run must is statically cleaned before fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures.

Flavours: The medium-load yellow has a nice hue in the reflections that tend towards the gold. The aroma of tropical fruit and floral notes is clean. On the palette, there are sensations of softness, roundness in a broad, fruity, deep and elegant taste.

Food Pairings: Rich and robust meat dishes such as beef stews.
Braised dishes such as Oxtail, Osso Bucco or Lamb Shanks.
Spicy sausages and other barbecued meats.
Game dishes such as wild boar, squab or duck.
Pasta dishes with rich meat ragu.
