Wine Of The Week Notes: Back in LCBO:VINTAGES just in time for the holidays!
Made from 100% Glera (traditionally called Prosecco) from the hillside vineyards of the classical production areas of Valdobbiadene.

"This pours pale lemon. It's typically light bodied prosecco with just a touch of sweetness, but aromatics are more complex than many peers. Expect poached pear, vanillin and vague almond and fennel notes. Well balanced, delicate and quite classy. The length is very good. Nicely done, Tasted Nov 2018: 90 points - David Lawreson

Description: Made from 100% Glera (traditionally called Prosecco) from the hillside vineyards of the classical production areas of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano at high elevation

Vinification: Brut - Charmat Method. Pressing, destemming, cooling of must and fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Second fermentation in “cuve close”.

Flavours: Hints of flowers, apple, pear and citrus fruits also in the mouth. Flavorful and freshness. Very fine and persistent bubbles. Very creamy, crisp, flowery and fruity.

Food Pairings: Great as a refreshing aperitif. Well paired with pasta and risotto, fish and white meat dishes.
Serving Temperature: 6° - 8° degrees
