Stock Status: No Per Case / Size: 12 x 750ml Intro: Welcome to Klinker Brick Winery, Award-winning producer of Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi. Great wine begins with a suitable climate and soil, both of which are found in Lodi. Sandy Loam soil coupled with the hot, cold exchange that graces Lodi from day to night creates a utopic environment to cultivate warm-weather varietals including Zinfandel, Cabernet and Syrah. Description: With an arsenal of 16 Zinfandel vineyards, we chose two that expressed the broad range of the varietal. In an effort to bring more structure and dimension to the blend we turned to our Syrah, Petite Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon blocks. The combination of these four varietals made for a delicious wine. Vinification: This blend is comprised of 80% Zinfandel, 10% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petite Sirah Flavours: Deep red fruit aromas lead into notes of dark cherry with soft tannins and a velvet finish.
