The winery is located at the foot of the Prealps, in the Venetian region and proud to be one of the oldest wineries in Valdobbiadene. Known for their Prosecco vine, the estate has been growing and evolving throughout four generations of producers. Antonio founded it, Nino expanded it, Primo improved international distribution and today, Silvia Franco is the future of the brand. Description: Rustico is connected to the old local tradition of making wine using short second fermentation in the bottle and leaving the sediments in the wine. Although no longer the technique, the name has remained and is considered to be a brand name. 100% Glera(traditionally called Prosecco) from classic production area hillside vineyards situated at medium to high altitude. Vinification: Charmat method - Pressing, destemming, cooling of must and fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. Second fermentation in ”cuve close”. Flavours: Creamy, refreshing and balanced. Very fine, persistent, pleasant, and crisp, fruity and flowery. Food Pairings: As an aperitif or with appetizer, with risotto or pasta. Very well coupled with snacks.
