Intro: Our House is located in a very famous terroir in Montagne de Reims, Verzy. This is where we have grown vines for 13 generations with passion and the wish of transmission of our know how always in mind.
Our family owns vineyard in Champagne since 1633, and André Sacy, in 1962, make the decision to produce Champagne, creating at the beginning Champagne Sacy Père et Fils which will become Champagne Louis de Sacy in 1986, named after our brilliant ancestor.
Then, his son, Alain Sacy, made Louis de Sacy grow in France and also developed the export that is now an important part of our business.
Yaël and Jonathan Sacy, after different work experiences in France and abroad, joined the family business in 2012 to continue what has been built and develop the notoriety of the brand.

Description: The Brut Originel lets easily discover its subtle aromas coming from the prolonged aging. It is exceptionally elaborated from parcels coming from 7 different terroirs.

Vinification: The blend is 55% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Meunier. This is a well structured Champagne without aggressiveness with a long finish allowing all expression of the "terroir".

Flavours: Fine and prolific bubbles "mousse". The colour is typical champagne with hint of yellow gold.
Aroma : the nose is a mixture of flowers and fruit with a well developed maturity.
Taste : aromatic with smoke, ripe damson plum and blackberry notes riding the creamy mousse, layered with accents of lightly charred toast, golden raisin and roasted nut. Tangy finish.

Review: WINE ENTHUSIAST score: 89/100
With a high proportion of Pinot Noir in the blend, this ripe wine has a sense of structure as well as fruitiness. Rich pear and apricot flavors are balanced by the fresh, crisp aftertaste. The wine is rounded and ready to drink.
WINE SPECTATOR score: 90/100
Aromatic, with smoke, ripe damson plum and blackberry notes riding the creamy mousse, layered with accents of lightly charred toast, golden raisin and roasted nut. Tangy finish.
